Taking a break

Postby Odnom on Wed Feb 24, 2010 2:26 am

I've come to the conclusion that my use of World of Warcraft has become problematic and in general unenjoyable with PUGs, queues, gold, badge farming etc... So I feel the need to take a bit of a drastic step and take a break. I'll probably sit out for a few months, maybe wait until the expansion this Christmas, hard to say.

See you all around.

hey mondo. totally understand after the 6+ month hiatus myself. have fun outside of the game, and hope to see you back at some point. between now and xpac if you think you might find some time to play shoot me an PM or shoot me a message on Facebook and let me know when you think you might be on and I'll run around with ya.

later!
You know Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump. Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and he won a ping-pong competition? That ain’t retarded.

You went full retard, man. Never go full retard.

Mondo,

Have a great break. I know that I speak on behalf a bunch of the gang in saying that we'll look forward to seeing when you come back.

Mondo -

Breaks are good. I can speak from experience that the game seems much fresher when you return - even if the company does not.

Yes, taking a break at the end of TBC for a few months before coming back worked well. I miss playing with the gang, but I think I'll catch up on some reading, other hobbies and maybe build an addition on my house.

Really need to start checking this place more often.

Mondo,

Always fun to play the game with you. Take care and we'll welcome you back when you return. If not, we'll burn Martygan in effigy to you.
